JoAnn Ebanks, a born and raised New Yorker, excels in balancing bottom-line demands and customer care. With a previous career in film and television production including positions with HBO, Reuters and PBS, JoAnn has invaluable experience negotiating large deals and managing critical details while simultaneously serving the needs of high-profile clients. She applies those skills to her sales and rental clients as an associate broker for The Corcoran Group.
A real estate investor, who has bought and sold townhouses and apartments, JoAnn has a great deal of first-hand real estate experience from every side of a real estate transaction. With that comes a great deal of sensitivity to her clients’ perspective. JoAnn has also served on a co-op board, giving her insight into the board approval process, which she now helps her clients navigate.
JoAnn’s particular focus is on townhouses and apartments in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, especially those that meet the unique needs of families. A mother of two, JoAnn is familiar with all the aspects of the home renting/buying process families face. Be it a townhouse for a growing family or a new pied-a-terre for an empty nester, JoAnn works closely with her clients to take the next step either by selling, buying or renting. Additionally, JoAnn speaks both Spanish and Portuguese, which she finds very useful in this most international of cities.

As a licensed real estate professional at Corcoran, Alicia Corpening draws inspiration from her life and earlier career in fashion to help clients find a home that reflects their style and energy.
Alicia grew up in a military family that traveled all over the country and the world. Recognizing the importance of feeling at home, in whatever environment or dressing, she leveraged her intuitive ability to identify and shape seemingly small details to make the setting work for all involved. After graduating from Florida A&M University with a degree in graphic communications, Alicia moved to New York to pursue a career as a wardrobe stylist. Building relationships and marrying the trends to the daily needs, she soon began working with major magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, and Vogue, the fashion bible. She also worked on major ad campaigns for brands like Sephora, Macys, and John Frieda. After five years, running around the city prepping for styling projects, she realized her real love was with the city itself, and transitioned to a career in real estate at Warburg Realty.
A key member of the team working with Charlie Lewis, a senior managing director at the firm, Alicia handles rentals as well as the sales of residential condos and coops throughout Manhattan.
